Three appellate court appointees win easy confirmation
Three nominees to the state appellate courts won unanimous approval from the Commission on Judicial Appointments Thursday, including the first openly gay state appellate court justice and the first Latino justice in the Central Valley.

SAN FRANCISCO - Three nominees to the state appellate courts won unanimous approval from the Commission on Judicial Appointments Thursday. They include the first openly gay state appellate court justice and the first Latino appellate court justice in the Central Valley.
