Eastman Kodak Co. announced the sale and licensing of its digital imaging patent portfolio Wednesday for $525 million to a group of technology giants, including rivals Apple Inc. and Google Inc.
The beleaguered photo company said the deal, which still needs approval from a New York bankruptcy court, gives it much needed capital to restructure and help it emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2013. ...
