City Attorney's Office Glendale Specialty: redevelopment


Gov. Jerry Brown's dissolution of redevelopment agencies earlier this year, followed by legislation to ease some of the fallout, has generated considerable work for municipal attorneys throughout California as they try to advise the local successor agencies.


Assembly Bill 1484, the dissolution act, directs newly created successor agencies and their oversight boards to unwind former redevelopment agencies and dispose of their assets.
