Judge to PG&E: Pay Property Tax Now

SAN FRANCISCO - Pacific Gas & Electric Co. got the judicial equivalent of a trip to the woodshed Wednesday as U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Dennis Montali refused to hold county property taxes "hostage" to give the utility leverage in negotiating waivers for late payment penalties.
