Women's Law Center Fund-Raiser Lauds Founder
LOS ANGELES - For the first time that she could remember, Abby Leibman stood speechless behind a podium - if only for a moment. Leibman, co-founder of the California Women's Law Center, marveled at the fuss made over her Thursday at the Center's "Justa Taste, Justa Laugh, Justice for Women" fund-raiser. The event, which featured comediennes Rita Rudner, Caroline Rhea and Emily Levine, honored Leibman, the center's executive director of 12 years, who will step down July 1.
