Manatt Partner Pioneered in Health Care Law

LOS ANGELES - Sherwin L. Memel, a senior partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips and widely regarded as one of the pioneers of modern health care law, died in late July of cancer at his home in Beverlywood. He was 77.
