Electricity Providers Lose Bid for Federal Court

SAN FRANCISCO - Plaintiffs in suits charging electricity providers with gouging California consumers scored a major victory on Tuesday when a federal judge remanded the litigation to state court where plaintiffs will carry a much lighter burden of proof.
