U.S. District Judge Ronald S.W. Lew will return to his Los Angeles courtroom this week after recovering from a head injury suffered nearly two months ago in Southeast Asia.
Judge Audrey B. Collins made the announcement during Friday's ceremony marking the court's transition of the position of chief judge from Collins to its current incumbent, George H. King. The news was confirmed Monday by a court representative.
