Panel Suggests Settlement of Quadriplegics Suit

Changes in the medical records of a patient who apparently suffered permanent paralysis after treatment at a Los Angeles county hospital led a panel Monday to recommend settlement of the man's lawsuit for nearly $1.3 million.
