Judge Arrested on Suspicion of Spousal Abuse

SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco Superior Court Judge James J. McBride, 47 could be arraigned as early as today following his weekend arrest on felony spousal abuse charges. A physical struggle with his wife Saturday morning left Elaine McBride with bruises on her hand, chest and cheek, according to a lawyer close to the case who declined to be quoted by name.
