Dead Witness Proves Problematic for Disney
The death of president Frank Wells created a legal problem for the Walt Disney Co. in its dispute with movie executive Jeffrey Katzenberg over the profit-sharing provisions of Katzenberg's lucrative contract, Disney's chief operating officer testified Monday in the trial of Katzenberg's $250 million breach of contract suit.
