Disabled Candidate Sues LAPD

A 22-year-old man born without a lower left leg but, who with the use of a prosthesis passed physical requirements to enroll in the Los Angeles police academy filed a lawsuit Thursday against the city, claiming he was discriminated against when the department refused to allow him to become a cadet.
