Milberg Weiss Pays $50M to Settle Lawsuit
A day after being tagged with a $45 million verdict for allegedly trying to destroy the reputation of a high-profile law and economics consulting firm, New York-based Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach and one of its famed partners, San Diego plaintiffs' lawyer William Lerach, have agreed to pay $50 million to settle the matter.
