Operation Casablanca Trial Opens in L.A.

After prosecutors told jurors Tuesday that defendants in Operation Casablanca willingly participated in a massive money-laundering scheme, several defense attorneys portrayed their clients as unknowing pawns in a sting engineered by a onetime drug trafficker and money-launderer turned government agent.
