MCI Sued for 'Fraud Area' Calling Restrictions

A family emergency last month prompted Darren Haylock to try to call Belize using his MCI WorldCom calling card from a friend's South-Central Los Angeles home. When the calls would not go through, Haylock called an operator, who told him the international call was not allowed because it came from a "high level of fraud" area.
