Judge: Sex Offender Does Not Need to Give Blood

SAN FRANCISCO - A convicted sex offender has won a restraining order preventing police from obtaining a blood sample from him. Superior Court Judge Ronald E. Quidachay in San Francisco last Friday ordered police not to enforce against Casey D. Aisenman a new element of the sex offender registration law requiring that all registered sex offenders provide blood samples. The new requirement went into effect Jan. 1.
