State Bar Pursues Referral Group That Hired O.J. as Spokesman

The State Bar of California wants to know just what sort of business O.J. Simpson has hooked himself up with. Numerous news stories last week announced that Simpson had taped television spots for a new lawyer referral service focusing on minority clients called Justice Media Inc. Simpson told the Associated Press that he made the commercials for a friend, for no pay, because he had learned that "you can't walk into a courtroom without competent legal representation."
