Tangled Spider-Man Saga Approaches Its Final Leg

The widely publicized Hollywood legal war over the comic book character Spider-Man got a date for its final skirmish Thursday. With seven attorneys representing parties to the long-running dispute arrayed before him, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz set April 6 for trial on the remaining issue in the complex case: whether Viacom Inc., the parent company of Paramount studio and MTV, owns television rights to the Marvel Enterprises superhero.
