L.A. Will Pay $950K for Officer-Involved Shooting

The Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to pay $950,000 to settle a lawsuit stemming from an officer-involved shooting. Peter Williams sued after he was shot by police Detective Greg Yacoubian on April 17, 1995, in the Van Nuys area. Williams v. Yacoubian , CV97-6269.
