Still Bullish After All These Years

It's official. As the state's largest law firms wind up their annual fiscal reports, one theme is clear - 1998 was another bullish year. Of 19 large California firms polled, several saw their revenue grow at a double-digit rate, with a corresponding increase in profitability. Among them are Latham & Watkins; Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher; and Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in Los Angeles, and Morrison & Foerster; Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe; and Fenwick & West in the Bay Area.
