Pacific Stock Exchange Sued Over Spread

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pacific Stock Exchange was accused in a shareholder class action filed this week of conspiring with market makers, stock brokers and four other exchanges to fix the transaction fee - known as the spread - paid on contracts to buy or sell certain Pacific Exchange stock options since 1992.
