Riverside OKs Added Spending to Bolster Staffing at Juvenile Halls
RIVERSIDE - Staffing problems in Riverside County's juvenile halls were addressed Tuesday as the county's Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to approve funding to add 24 full-time positions to the facilities - an action coming two weeks after the chairman of an advisory panel said staffing and overcrowding problems could lead to a recommendation to shut them down and release youths to the street.
