Former KB Home CEO Appeals Conviction

Three weeks after former KB Home CEO Bruce Karatz dodged a prison sentence for three felony convictions related to stock option backdating, he has appealed the relatively lenient sentence.

LOS ANGELES - Three weeks after former KB Home CEO Bruce Karatz dodged a prison sentence for three felony convictions related to stock option backdating, his lawyers filed an appeal seeking to overturn all adverse rulings in the case.


It comes at the same time as federal prosecutors filed briefs appealing the home detention and probation sentence Karatz received.
