Dole Attorneys Aim for Appeals Stage

One day after a court ordered Dole Food Co. to pay $200,000 in attorneys' fees in a related matter, Dole said it will not seek a contempt of court hearing for an Oakland-based attorney in the banana farm pesticide litigation.

LOS ANGELES - Dole Food Co. will not seek a contempt of court hearing for an Oakland attorney that it accused of leaking to the media the names of confidential witnesses in the long-running banana farm pesticide litigation, but the company will seek additional sanctions against him.
