DLA Piper Cuts Staff in Some U.S. Offices

Despite what managing partner Michael Meyer called "a very good year otherwise," the Los Angeles and Century City offices of DLA Piper laid off four support staff on Thursday.

DLA Piper laid off several non-attorney staff in offices across the U.S. Thursday, the firm confirmed.


In a statement, Chief Operating Officer Bob Bratt said, "It is important for us at DLA Piper to ensure that our resources, including support staff, are right-sized in order for us to maximize the performance of our firm."
