Cleveland-based Squire, Sanders & Dempsey and British law firm Hammonds have officially tied the knot, voting to join forces by Jan. 1 of next year.

Cleveland-based Squire, Sanders & Dempsey and British law firm Hammonds have officially tied the knot, voting to join forces by Jan. 1 of next year. The combination will retain the Squire Sanders name and count 1,275 lawyers spread across 37 offices in 17 countries, according to the new firm's website.
