Lawyers Help with Election Efforts
Reed Smith's Los Angeles office hosted an Election Day Call Center on Tuesday in support of Election Protection 2010, a national, non-partisan coalition founded to ensure voters have an equal opportunity to participate in the election. From 6:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., over 100 attorneys from different firms across the city fielded thousands of calls, providing election information and assistance to both voters and poll workers.
