Davis Polk Assists Oracle in $1 Billion Acquisition

Davis Polk & Wardwell, led by Menlo Park-based partners Julia Cowles and William Kelly, represented Oracle in a $1 billion cash acquisition of Massachusetts-based e-commerce company Art Technology Group, Inc.

Davis Polk & Wardwell, led by Menlo Park-based partners Julia Cowles and William Kelly, represented Oracle in a $1 billion cash acquisition of e-commerce company Art Technology Group, Inc.


The deal, announced Tuesday and expected to close early next year pending shareholder approval and antitrust clearance, is the latest in a string of Oracle acquisitions handled by Cowles and Kelly.
