SAN DIEGO - Frances L. Harrison, a pioneer in aiding family law litigants, died last month, but her legacy lives on.


Harrison became the first family law facilitator in San Diego County in 1997, part of a state-mandated program designed to help pro per parties navigate the often complex family court system.
