Court: PG&E Can't Evade State Law

SAN FRANCISCO - In a "slam dunk win" for California, a federal appeals court held Wednesday that bankrupt Pacific Gas and Electric Co. cannot use the bankruptcy court to bypass state environmental, health, safety and consumer laws to reorganize the company.
