Senate May Act Today to Block California Financial-Privacy Law
WASHINGTON - The Senate today is likely to begin consideration of a popular financial credit-reporting bill that would override some provisions in a recently passed California financial-privacy law, but California Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer are fighting to win support for preserving the state measure.
