        The American College of Trial Lawyers will induct a Canadian president for the first time in its 53-year history this weekend at its annual convention.
        In a fitting coincidence, the new president, David Scott of Ottawa's Borden Ladner Gervais, gets to host the convention in his home country Oct. 30 through Nov. 2.
