Wilson Sonsini: RESPOND.COM OF PALO ALTO MERGES WITH NETGENSHOPPER
Palo Alto's Respond.com Inc. and Fairfax, Va.'s netgenShopper.com Inc. have merged. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Respond.com, founded in 1998, matches businesses with buyers. Potential buyers fill out a simple request form, and Respond.com delivers responses from businesses that have what buyers want. The company also has long-term partnerships with buyer and business aggregators such as American Express, Lawyers.com, iWon and Lycos.
