An Expert Client

David J. Duchrow of Los Angeles' Duchrow & Barker reached a $135,000 settlement in a recent wrongful-termination case, Johnson v. City of Loma Linda, SCV22266 (San Bernardino Super. Ct., Jan. 2, 2001).

        The plaintiff's attorney kept close track of local press coverage of cases against the city related to his client's claim. This provided information for trial preparation that counsel for the city asserted was confidential.
