LOS ANGELES - Renowned forensic psychiatrist Park Dietz contended late Thursday that he quickly learned he had given false testimony in the 2002 trial of Texas child killer Andrea Yates but that the prosecution and the defense ignored his offer to return to Houston to correct it.
