LOS ANGELES - A memorial service will take place Sunday for Los Angeles personal injury trial attorney Richard C. Du Par. Du Par, who helped found the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel four decades ago, died Dec. 21 at the Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was 71.
