City Council Must Learn to Listen
LOS ANGELES - Ahem. Uh, excuse me, Los Angeles City Council members? Could you put down your cell phones and pay attention? In a scathing rebuke to the council's "inattentiveness" during a public hearing, a state appellate court on Thursday ordered the 15-person board to reconsider a request by Blue Zebra strip club to expand its business hours.
