Tenet Settles Over Unnecessary Surgeries

SAN FRANCISCO - Tenet Healthcare Corp., the country's second-largest hospital chain, agreed Tuesday to pay $395 million to settle complaints that doctors at its former facility in Redding performed unnecessary heart procedures on healthy patients.
