Runoff Will Decide Next Commissioner
LOS ANGELES - A runoff will decide who will replace Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Donna Groman. Neither of the two top vote-getters, juvenile court referee Anthony Trendacosta and retired Commissioner John Murphy, won a majority of the ballots in the first round of voting. The ballots, cast by Los Angeles Superior Court judges, were tallied Friday.
