Newport Beach Picks Female City Attorney
The city of Newport Beach has made its first city-attorney appointment in 20 years, and for the first time, it's a woman. Acting city attorney Robin Lynn Clauson will replace longtime city attorney Bob Burnham, who retired in August after two decades in the post, the City Council decided.
