Woman Gets Millions in Train Wreck
SANTA ANA - An Orange County jury awarded a Riverside woman $8.9 million Wednesday for physical and psychological injuries she sustained after a head-on collision between a Metrolink commuter train and a Burlington Northern freight train, the first verdict coming from the 100 or so lawsuits filed in the wake of the 2002 crash.
