Forest Service Lobbies 9th Circuit Meeting on Fire Management

Trends in fire science were on the docket at the 9th circuit annual conference Wednesday in a National Interagency Fire Center presentation titled "Bigger, Hotter, Faster: The Nature of Fire in the West." The event came at the height of the wildfire season, with an active blaze threatening Yosemite National Park and others in progress elsewhere.
