'Game Over,' Judge Says of Efforts to Block Video Game Merger

A judge rebuffing shareholders' attempts to block approval of Santa Monica video game publisher Activision Inc.'s proposed $18 billion merger with Vivendi SA was not that unusual. But, channelling "South Park's" bad boy Cartman by instructing the plaintiffs to respect his "authori-tay," was out of the ordinary.
