The short-lived growth of 3,100 jobs the legal market saw in July slowed to a crawl in August as the industry added only 100 jobs, according to data released by the U.S. Department of Labor.
The stagnation is a sign law firm leadership remains cautious about recruiting and is trying to do more work with smaller staff, recruiters and consultants say.
