I was delighted to see Judge Harry Pregerson receive richly deserved attention for his outstanding legal career and his extraordinary track record of public service ("Don't pigeon-hole him," Aug. 26). In nearly two decades with Public Counsel meeting some of the most dynamic and accomplished leaders both locally and around the nation, I have met no one who has done more to help the homeless - especially homeless veterans...
