Gay Man Challenges Deportation
LOS ANGELES - Gay and lesbian activists turned out Friday outside the downtown Los Angeles immigration court in support of Marcus Linarez, who is fighting deportation to Guatemala on grounds that he will be persecuted for his homosexuality if he returns to the country he left when he was 10.
