Daschle, Carville Top List Of Speakers at Convention

The national group lobbied hard this past year to defeat a medical-malpractice bill in Congress that would have limited noneconomic damages to $250,000. All their work paid off as Senate Democrats blocked the bill July 9, killing it for this year.
