Invitrogen Makes $325 Million Biotech Buy
By Toni Vranjes Two companies that make products for biotechnology research are uniting. Life sciences company Invitrogen Corp. has signed a deal to buy Molecular Probes Inc. for $325 million in cash. The companies expect to close the deal in the third quarter.
