Newspaper Was Right to Report Story Behind Defeat of Judge

Letters to the Editors - As an evicted tenant of Lincoln Place Apartments in Venice, I was happy to see your June 13 article about the electoral defeat of Judge [Dzintra] Janavs ("To Tenants and Their Lawyers, Janavs' Defeat Was Justified").

As an evicted tenant of Lincoln Place Apartments in Venice, I was happy to see your June 13 article about the electoral defeat of Judge [Dzintra] Janavs ("To Tenants and Their Lawyers, Janavs' Defeat Was Justified").
      Like most voters I rarely have time to research judges before an election; however I made it a point to vote against Judge Janavs based on my neighbors' accounts of her conduct in her courtroom.
