Judicial Council moves ahead with grant proposal for case management system

The Judicial Council agreed Friday to formally start negotiations with a Los Angeles billionaire and the State Bar to help the courts bring a new statewide case management system online.

The Judicial Council agreed Friday to formally start negotiations with a Los Angeles billionaire and the State Bar to help the courts bring a new statewide case management system online.


Over the next three months, the council will try to forge an agreement to infuse as much as $20 million in cash and technical expertise into the deployment of the Court Case Management System, or CCMS.
